Recent House Projects

Well, we've been doing lots of projects at the house recently. Let me see if I can recap some of them...Replaced 3 back windows & had stucco repaired, replaced window trimmer studs in master bedroom, repaired sheet rock, painting, and lots of work in the hall bathroom. While our bedroom window wall was being worked on, we moved into the guest room. Today, we had 10 low voltage recessed lighting put into the living room/dinning room and when Patrick & I got home he painted the bathroom while I prepared our master bedroom, so that we were able to move back in. Now it's time to decorate!!!

November Vacation to Cambria

For the Veterans Day long weekend, Patrick & I took a little vacation to Cambria. We relaxed at a fun Inn, walked around the town, visited Hearst Castle, and watched some waves. It was a great and very restful weekend. Oh, yes, we also made a couple of purchases that we're really enjoying.

Crazy Life

Well, it has been a mighty long time! Patrick & I are both working very hard at our jobs and working some long hours. This week Pat hopes to finish up a lot of the work at the San Jose Airport, then his job may calm down for a little while. We continue to take on house projects, although not as aggressively as before. Two weeks ago we had our back fence replaced, it is really nice. Today Patrick with the help of his dad and brother installed the bathtub for our hall bathroom (it's been in the garage for over a month, but it looks so much better in the bathroom). As I write Patrick is breaking out the stucco around our three back windows, so we can replace them this week. We hope that you are doing well.

Pat's new Ride

I got the riding fever!!!! Now I just need a wide open road. . . . or a bike lane on a non-busy street. This is the scooter that came with the house. All I did was plug it in, let it charge, and hot-wire the ignition.

Pat's Work

Here are some pictures of what Patrick's been doing at the new SJ Airport.
The top of the shades are at about 45 feet above the floor, and the lower part is about 25 feet off the ground.
